Strategi, tujuan dan hasil
Pengembangan bahasa global untuk kesehatan – menyatukan sistem kesehatan dari seluruh dunia dan memungkinkan mereka untuk berkomunikasi dan memahami satu sama lain – merupakan upaya internasional.
SNOMED International didirikan berdasarkan prinsip tersebut. Pada tahun 2007, IHTSDO didirikan untuk membangun dan memperkuat SNOMED CT, terminologi kesehatan lainnya dan produk terminologi terkait, dan untuk mengembangkan, memelihara, mempromosikan, dan memungkinkan penyerapan dan penggunaan yang benar dari produk terminologinya dalam sistem, layanan, dan produk kesehatan di seluruh dunia. Kami adalah organisasi keanggotaan kolaboratif yang kuat dan bangga, melayani dan menanggapi kebutuhan sektor perawatan kesehatan.
Pada tahun 2017 kami mengadopsi nama dagang SNOMED International, untuk mencerminkan evolusi kami menjadi organisasi yang berorientasi pada produk dan layanan. Kami bekerja dengan Anggota kami dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya untuk memprioritaskan pengembangan strategis SNOMED CT untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sektor kesehatan.
Penglihatan
Pada tahun 2025, Terminologi Klinis akan digunakan secara global, yang akan menghasilkan kesehatan yang lebih baik dan hasil pasien yang lebih baik, didukung oleh satu bahasa kesehatan.
Misi
SNOMED International secara berkelanjutan menghasilkan kosa kata klinis global dan layanan lain yang memungkinkan pertukaran dan analisis informasi kesehatan yang jelas untuk semua.
Arah strategis
Selama proses konsultasi selama setahun, SNOMED International dan Community of Practice terkait telah menetapkan Strategi organisasi 2020-2025. Sampai pada strategi ini telah menjadi proses aktif dan kolaboratif antara peserta yang mewakili organisasi, Majelis Umum, dan badan tata kelola Dewan Manajemen.
Membangun fondasi yang kuat yang dimungkinkan melalui keberhasilan strategi 2015-2020, rumah sakit dapat mulai mengembangkan model untuk menghubungkan dengan terminologi dan klasifikasi lain, memberikan pandangan yang lebih terinformasi tentang rekam medis pasien.
Rencana kerja tahunan
Kegiatan kami meliputi penyampaian layanan reguler (misalnya, rilis SNOMED CT dua tahunan) dan proyek yang membahas kebutuhan khusus Anggota, Afiliasi, dan pengguna akhir. Proyek ditetapkan dalam rencana kerja tahunan yang dikembangkan oleh tim manajemen, berdasarkan masukan dari Anggota dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya.
