Stratégie, objectifs et résultats
Le développement d'un langage mondial pour la santé – unissant les systèmes de santé du monde entier et leur permettant de communiquer et de se comprendre – est une entreprise internationale.
SNOMED International a été fondée sur ce principe. En 2007, IHTSDO a été créé pour construire et renforcer SNOMED CT, d'autres terminologies de santé et produits terminologiques connexes, et pour développer, maintenir, promouvoir et permettre l'adoption et l'utilisation correcte de ses produits terminologiques dans les systèmes, services et produits de santé du monde entier. Nous sommes une organisation de membres collaborative forte et fière, servant et répondant aux besoins du secteur de la santé.
En 2017, nous avons adopté le nom commercial de SNOMED International, pour refléter notre évolution vers une organisation orientée produits et services. Nous travaillons avec nos membres et d'autres parties prenantes pour donner la priorité au développement stratégique de SNOMED CT afin de répondre aux besoins du secteur de la santé.
Vision
D'ici 2025, les terminologies cliniques seront utilisées à l'échelle mondiale, ce qui se traduira par une meilleure santé et de meilleurs résultats pour les patients, soutenus par un seul langage de la santé.
Mission
SNOMED International produit de manière durable un vocabulaire clinique mondial et d'autres services qui permettent l'échange et l'analyse clairs d'informations sur la santé pour tous.
Direction stratégique
Au cours d'un processus de consultation d'un an, SNOMED International et sa communauté de pratique associée ont défini la stratégie 2020-2025 de l'organisation. L'élaboration de cette stratégie a été un processus actif et collaboratif entre les participants représentant les organes de gouvernance de l'organisation, de l'Assemblée générale et du Conseil de gestion.
S'appuyant sur une base solide rendue possible grâce au succès de la stratégie 2015-2020, l'organisation peut commencer à développer un modèle à relier à d'autres terminologies et classifications, offrant une vision plus éclairée du dossier du patient.
Plans de travail annuels
Nos activités comprennent la prestation de services réguliers (par exemple, la version semestrielle de SNOMED CT) et des projets qui répondent aux besoins spécifiques des membres, des affiliés et des utilisateurs finaux. Les projets sont définis dans des plans de travail annuels élaborés par l'équipe de gestion, sur la base des contributions des membres et d'autres parties prenantes. Le plan de travail est soumis à l'approbation de l'Assemblée générale.
