Estratègia, objectius i resultats
El desenvolupament d'un llenguatge global per a la salut, que uneix els sistemes de salut d'arreu del món i que els permeti comunicar-se i entendre's, és un esforç internacional.
SNOMED International es va fundar en aquest principi. L'any 2007, IHTSDO es va establir per construir i reforçar SNOMED CT, altres terminologies sanitàries i productes terminològics relacionats, i per desenvolupar, mantenir, promoure i permetre l'adopció i l'ús correcte dels seus productes terminològics en sistemes, serveis i productes sanitaris d'arreu del món. Som una organització de membres col·laborativa forta i orgullosa, que serveix i respon a les necessitats del sector sanitari.
El 2017 vam adoptar el nom comercial de SNOMED International, per reflectir la nostra evolució cap a una organització orientada a productes i serveis. Treballem amb els nostres membres i altres grups d'interès per prioritzar el desenvolupament estratègic de SNOMED CT per satisfer les necessitats del sector sanitari.
Visió
L'any 2025, les terminologies clíniques s'utilitzaran a nivell mundial, cosa que donarà lloc a una millor salut i millors resultats dels pacients, amb el suport d'un llenguatge de salut.
Missió
SNOMED International produeix de manera sostenible un vocabulari clínic global i altres serveis que permeten l'intercanvi i l'anàlisi clars d'informació de salut per a tothom.
Direcció estratègica
Al llarg d'un procés de consulta d'un any, SNOMED International i la seva comunitat de pràctiques associada han establert l'estratègia 2020-2025 de l'organització. Arribar a aquesta estratègia ha estat un procés actiu i col·laboratiu entre els participants que representen l'organització, l'Assemblea General i els òrgans de govern de la Junta Directiva.
A partir d'una base sòlida possible gràcies a l'èxit de l'estratègia 2015-2020, l'organització pot començar a desenvolupar un model per vincular-se amb altres terminologies i classificacions, proporcionant una visió més informada de l'historial del pacient.
Plans de treball anuals
Les nostres activitats inclouen la prestació de serveis regulars (per exemple, la versió bianual de SNOMED CT) i projectes que aborden necessitats específiques dels membres, afiliats i usuaris finals. Els projectes s'exposen en plans de treball anuals desenvolupats per l'equip directiu, a partir de les aportacions dels membres i altres grups d'interès. El Pla de Treball està subjecte a l'aprovació de l'Assemblea General.
