How SNOMED CT will be used
Using SNOMED CT benefits us as it helps in interoperability and standardisation of clinical notes and observations. SNOMED CT will be used as a code system to store clinical information (i.e. storing SNOMED CT identifiers in your patient records) in clinical documentation for the areas of Problem List, Medication List, Allergy List, Clinical Documentation, Medical/Allergy Management and Continuity of care/Discharge Plans.
