Description
Lithuania has implemented this Project during which 40,000 of SNOMED CT concepts have been translated into the Lithuanian language; LITHUANIAN SNOMED CT IS have been developed; and, the SNOMED CT use case has been implemented in one of the largest Lithuanian outpatient clinics.
Scope
Information System of one of the biggest Lithuanian clinics (Public institution CENTRO Outpatient Clinic).
How SNOMED CT will be used
To code vaccination records and certificates of child health examination in order to transfer these records to central e-health information system.
Why SNOMED CT will be used
Because of very complete terminology which helps to avoid different descriptions of diseases and opportunities of interpretation.
